According to the details outlined in the proposal, President Tinubu is set to spend ₦7.44 billion on these items, while Vice President Shettima will have ₦1.9 billion for similar expenses.
For President Tinubu, the breakdown of the travel expenses is as follows:
- International Travel: ₦6.14 billion
- Local Travel: ₦873.9 million
- Refreshments and Meals: ₦431.6 million
Meanwhile, Vice President Shettima’s travel budget includes:
- International Travel: ₦1.31 billion
- Local Travel: ₦417.5 million

Budget for Cars, Fuel, Honorarium, and Office Complex
In addition to travel and refreshments, the 2025 budget also includes substantial allocations for operational vehicles, honorarium, and the construction of a new office complex for Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the President.
The total proposed for vehicles in the budget amounts to ₦4.76 billion, broken down as follows:
- ₦3.66 billion for the acquisition of operational vehicles for the State House
