Fiona Bruce’s quiet life in desirable London area where average home fetches £1.16million

Fiona Bruce has been gracing Britons’ TV screens for years as a newsreader and presenter across a plethora of programmes.
The BBC star joined the public service broadcaster in 1989 as a researcher for Panorama.
She then became the first female newsreader on the BBC News at Ten and presented shows including BBC News at Six, Crimewatch, Real Story, Fake or Fortune? and Question Time.
The 59-year-old was born in Singapore, Malaysia and has two elder brothers.
She was educated at the International School of Milan and attended Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College in New Cross, London.
She then attended Hertford College, Oxford where she studied French and Italian before going to the University of London Institute in Paris. The presenter is fluent in both French and Italian.
Away from the screen, Fiona lives a quiet life with her husband Nigel Sharrocks in Belsize Park in London.
Fiona met Nigel in when he was director of the advertising agency where she worked. He is now a non-executive chairman of Digital Cinema Media.
The couple married in 1994 in Islington, London and have two children together, a son and a daughter.
The family’s home is based in Belsize Park in London but they also have a second home in Sydenham, Oxfordshire.
Both areas are desirable places to live with Belsize Park being known for its leafy residential streets and quaint mews houses.
Homes in Belsize Park tend to be Georgian and Victorian villas converted into spacious apartments.

Overall, sold prices in Belsize Park over the last year were similar to the previous year and similar to the 2017 peak of £1,164,411.
Homes in Sydenham, Oxfordshire are also well above the UK average with properties having an overall average price of £790,000 over the last year.
