Ghanaian football fans have taken to social media to troll their Nigerian counterparts after beating the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars produced an incredible performance to beat the Wild Beast at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and go top of Group I in the qualifiers.

A hat-trick from Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew and a strike from Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was enough for the Black Stars to make it back-to-back wins in the June window.

Earlier, the Super Eagles of Nigeria suffered a shocking defeat to Benin after falling to a 2-1 defeat despite taking an early lead against the Squirrels.
