Happy Holidays.” Along with the message, he updated his profile photo, featuring a picture with former United States Secretary of State and Special Envoy on Climate Change, John Kerry, taken at a previous event.

Ngelale’s birthday celebration comes just a few months after he stepped down from his role as President Tinubu’s spokesman. On September 7, he announced his decision to resign from the position, as well as from his other key responsibilities, including his role as Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.

In an official statement, the presidency confirmed that Ngelale submitted a memo to Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, informing him of his intent to take an indefinite leave of absence.
