Speaking at the end of the Feast of Christ the King Mass at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, the Governor reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Imo State, adding that he has kept his covenant with God.

He challenged anybody with evidence of what he has done wrong to bring it forward “because I will leave office a free man, sleep with my two eyes closed without being afraid of anybody, including the EFCC.”

The governor insisted that he had not violated any promises he made to the people of Imo. He expressed confidence in the legacy of prosperity, infrastructure, and dignity that his administration is building for the state.
