Reno Omokri has criticized Peter Obi for his silence after gunmen killed four vigilante operatives in two communities in Anambra State. He made this known in a post on his Facebook page on Monday, November 18.

“For the past week, the Southeast has been awash with death. Unknown gunmen killed three soldiers at a military checkpoint five days ago. Imo witnessed violence and killings. And just today, Monday sit-at-home enforcers killed five citizens at Abatete, Abagana and Ukpo in Anambra. And in all these harvests of deaths, Peter Obi has said nothing!” excerpts of his post read.

According to reports, hoodlums invaded the community between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. to enforce the illegal Monday sit-at-home order.

Residents who spoke to Premium Times indicated the first attack occurred at Abatete, a community in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.

Residents said the armed men invaded the community and opened fire on three vigilante operatives, who engaged the attackers in a shootout.

“But they were overpowered and killed by the gunmen,” a resident, who asked not to be named, said.
