Sources say when the operatives knocked on his door at night, the suspect, identified as Chukwuka Josiah Ikechukwu Nnamdi, refused to let them on the grounds that they might be kidnappers.
When the operatives badged in, he opened fire with his father’s pump action and shot Halisu who was the first to enter the house.
