Igboho was declared wanted by the Buhari administration for agitating against the attacks by Fulani militias against harmless villagers in his hometown.
His house in Ibadan was invaded by security operatives who ransacked the building but couldn’t find Igboho, who managed to escape to the Benin Republic, where he remained in exile.
With President Bola Tinubu now in power and Ladoja now the Olubadan of Ibadan, efforts were made to delist him from the wanted list.
On Monday, Igboho paid a visit to the Olubadan, during which he told Journalists that it was all about showing gratitude to the monarch for the role he played in making him a free man.
He said, “My father, the Olubadan, called me three days ago around 10:10 pm, saying he was with the President. He said he had settled my case and that I’ve become a free man. He said I could enter Nigeria freely, urging me to come back to the country from exile and live with my family peacefully in Ibadan.
