“I was thinking of what people would say when they see the scar on my lap,” Okeke shared. “I have posted this on my Instagram two years ago, but many people don’t know.”
Speaking about social media scrutiny, she added, “I am sharing this because people make conclusions on social media. I don’t want a situation where I share a picture showing clear skin and then someone sees me at the beach with a scar on my bum. Nigerians like to look and judge, but it’s easier when people know I have shared the story before.”
Emphasizing her personal style, Okeke stated, “I love to be free, I love to wear skimpy things.”
