Chief of Defense Staff Christopher Musa has disclosed that while the population continues to support the military, there are also worrying cases of civilians working with criminals.
General Musa revealed in a Daily Trust TV interview that certain women in the north are paid to take other ladies to bandits at night. He also revealed that certain musicians and medics visit the outlaws in the jungle to perform for them.
In General Musa’s words: “In the north some women carry other women to go and give bandits at night to get money, It is that bad.
Musicians go in there to go and sing because maybe if the man goes to sing somewhere they might give him five thousand naira but those guys might give him 100 or 200 thousand.
