As Pulse Sports reported, a frustrated Pep Guardiola raised six fingers up to an Anfield crowd, Mourinho-esque, after taunts of him getting fired, to remind them of his number of Premier League trophies.

It was pointed out to him that the Portuguese got fired months after making that gesture as a Manchester United coach, and Pep responded, saying he has double of Mourinho’s Premier League titles.

Mourinho did not let it slide in his next press appearance and he fired back, saying he won his title fair and square, without having to deal with over 100 charges Manchester City are currently saddled with over allegations of financial irregularities.

But I would say to Jose the same as I say to everyone else: we are innocent until proven guilty. After that, we’ll see what happens, but it’s what it is. So it was completely a joke.

“I think with both our teams, him with Chelsea, myself with Man City, we can sit at the table with Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, right? For the many, many titles we won. And I’m pretty sure sooner or later they will congratulate us.

“Talking about what I said, if I’ve offended him [Mourinho], I’m so sorry… but it was a joke. The fact is he had three; I had six. So this is a fact. But the intention was completely fine.”…Read -T.he.Full_Article.Here.
