During a press conference on Wednesday, KANSIEC Chairman Professor Sani Malunfashi detailed the election timeline.
“Campaign activities will begin on September 6, 2024, with expression of interest forms available from October 1 and due by October 18,” he said.
Professor Malunfashi also stated that all candidates must undergo drug tests conducted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) before being cleared to participate. “The elections will be held on November 30, and results will be announced by December 1,” he assured, emphasizing the commission’s commitment to free and fair elections.
