In a carnival-like atmosphere, a mammoth crowd of Kwankwasiyya faithful led by their leader, Senator Kwankwaso, a two-time governor of Kano State; incumbent Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, his deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo; Commissioners; Lawmakers, and other top government officials, attended the event.
Musical entertainment was provided by an array of members of the Kwankwasiyya Artistes Guild.
Taking to his Facebook page thereafter, Kwankwaso said the Sallah event confirmed the unity and strength of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
“I was honoured to receive thousands of Kwankwasiyya supporters led by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam for the 7th Kwankwasiya Annual Sallah Celebration in Kano.
“The event was made very lively by the sumptuous performances from the Kwankwasiyya Artistes Guild. The event is also known for its unity and significance, bringing together key political figures and party loyalists.
“The gathering was also blessed by the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly Hon. Jibril S. Falgore, NNPP National Chairman Dr. Ahmad Ajuji, State Chairman Hon. Hashim Dungurawa, and other top government officials.
“This occasion reaffirms the strength of the Kwankwasiya movement and our commitment to the people’s welfare.
