Zainab whose half brother, Aminu Ado Bayero, is the 15th Emir of Kano made this known in an interview with Punchng.
The filmaker said the hardship follow the death of her father and the family’s decision to leave them out of inheritance.
“We are currently in Lagos, living in an apartment with my mother and brother, but it’s not a permanent arrangement. We are at risk of facing eviction again because we can’t afford the rent, and this has been our reality for quite some time,” Zainab told the publication.
She also told of how her late father’s death made her to drop out of school, saying: “I attended Samadi, a secondary school in Kano and couldn’t continue my education after my father’s death.
