Activist Deji Adeyanju has alleged that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State intends to succeed Nyesom Wike as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory in 2027.
Adeyanju also characterised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a distraction.
In a video posted on his social media, the human rights lawyer asserted that many PDP members are actually working for President Bola Tinubu.
He said, “PDP is a distraction; what is dead may never die again. I don’t want to bother myself about PDP now because everybody there is working for Tinubu.
“They are just looking for who will have the most bargaining chip. Seyi Makinde wants to replace Wike and maybe he will become the next FCT minister in 2027.
“So he is more or less how we will make Tinubu come back in 2027, I will not join them in their caricature; I don’t have their time.”
