Prosecutors, Trinity Kholola, told the court that Gevinala committed the crime on the 1st of this month in the area.
In court, he was found guilty of the crime but he asked to be considered in handing out the sentence because he cares for his grandmother who is very old which the government side said is unreasonable.
Judge Damiano Banda of the Malomo court said that he has given this punishment as a warning to other people.
