At 25, Mbappe, who is the highest earner at Real Madrid, will become the majority owner of Caen after finalizing the deal.
According to Le Parisien, the France captain will spend just under €20 million to acquire the majority of the club’s shares. Pierre-Antin Capton will retain the remaining shares, valued at €5 million. Caen currently competes in French Ligue 2.
