Several reactions have followed the viral reports of the death of Nick Imudia, the former Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian e-commerce giant Konga...READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶▶▶

The reports indicate that Imudia died after jumping from the balcony of his Lekki apartment late Tuesday night.

The news of his passing trickled in early this morning and has sent shockwaves across social media.

His friends, family, and colleagues are struggling to understand the reasons behind his decision to take his own life.

This has sparked a conversation about the mental health of men, especially those who are rich and powerful.

Before his death, Nick Imudia served as the CEO of D.light, a leading residential solar energy solutions company.

Information about his passing has been limited, but he reportedly contacted his brother in the United States, giving instructions on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his death.

He also reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, assuring her that he would always be with her and that she could find him by looking at the sky.

Imudia, originally from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, had previously been married to the mother of his daughter, who also hails from the same local government. The marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

His death was confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Thursday, June 27.

“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” Hundeyin said.

cyude said: “Suicide is such a heavy act. Someone doesn’t just wake up and commit suicide. it goes through a path of serious mental evaluation.

1. His family members need to be interrogated.

2. His ex-wife needs to be interrogated.

3. His close friends need to be interrogated.

4. His colleagues at work in the companies where he worked should be interrogated.

5. If he had a doctor or a therapist prior to his death they should be interrogated.

The reason for this interrogation is to know the kind of person he is prior to his demise, build momentum around the case and obtain closure. After that is done we need to lay hold of his phones and WhatsApp messages to track his messages and calls in the last 1 year.

This is to know if something led to the decision, probably he was under attack or something else. Finally, if the premises has a CCTV camera, footage of his movements in and out of the building until the day of the incident should be reckoned. Visitors in or out of the building should be noted; the time they entered and the time they left.

If he was visited on the day of the incident who visited him, when did the person enter and when did the person leave. Finally, an autopsy should be conducted on his body to know if he is into drugs and narcotics. Check on his body to see if there are traces of fingerprints. We can’t just rush into conclusion that this is suicide. The person that reported this incident to the police as a suicide should be questioned thoroughly.

How did he or she know he committed suicide. We are dealing with a case that is likely suicide, murder or heavy threat to life and property. Wealthy people in Africa rarely commits suicide.
