The event took place between December 4 and December 6, 2024 in Rabat, Morocco.

Adesina said this in a statement on his official X platform during the weekend.

He was optimistic about the positive impact of investment interests, not highlighting the participation of several Nigerian state governors at the forum.

Adesina wrote: “I am delighted the Africa Investment Forum 2024 mobilised $7.6bn of investment interest for Nigeria.

“It was great to have several state governors: Lagos, Kaduna, Kastina, Kwara, and Plateau, and (later) Ogun.

“We will keep working to support & boost investments in Nigeria.”
