In a public notice shared on X on Wednesday, the NIS advised Nigerians to avoid engaging with the fraudulent page and to report it immediately. The statement clarified that the only legitimate recruitment involving the Immigration Service is the one recently conducted by the Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire and Immigration Board (CDCFIB), whose results are still pending.
“The attention of the Nigeria Immigration Service has been drawn to a post circulating on Facebook claiming that the Nigeria Immigration Service is recruiting. This is false. The public is advised to ignore, avoid engaging, and report the page immediately,” the notice read.
Applicants are urged to verify all recruitment-related information through the official CDCFIB portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
The NIS emphasized that official updates will only be communicated through verified channels to ensure transparency and protect job seekers from online scams.
The Service reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the public from fraudulent recruitment activities and called on Nigerians to remain vigilant.Read Original
