Nigeria has outlined its strategic digital interventions for 2025 at the Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO) 4th General Assembly. Representing the Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, highlighted six key initiatives aligning with the DCO 2025–2028 Agenda.

The initiatives focus on scaling digital fluency, developing critical infrastructure, advancing AI and emerging technologies, strengthening policy harmonisation, fostering public-private collaboration, and positioning Nigeria as a global innovation and AI hub.

Recognising DCO’s role in strengthening Nigeria’s global digital presence, Inuwa also invited attendees to the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV), scheduled for November 2025 in Nigeria.
