Primate Ayodele revealed that corruption in Nigeria is deeply entrenched and cannot be effectively combated using guns, laws, and technology alone.

In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the cleric emphasized that corruption in Nigeria has transcended the physical realm and anyone who seeks to fight it must be spiritually intelligent and fortified.

He said: “The EFCC chairman should understand that corruption in Nigeria goes beyond the physical; it cannot be tackled through lawsuits, guns, and arrests alone. It must also be fought spiritually.

“To combat corruption, one must be highly spiritual; it cannot be defeated with technology. Without spiritual capacity, the war against corruption cannot be won.”

The prophet warned that corruption would persist under the current administration due to powerful forces that enable it.

He commended the EFCC chairman for his commitment to fighting corruption but cautioned him to be vigilant, warning that corruption might retaliate and jeopardize his position.

“The EFCC chairman has done commendably well, and I appreciate his efforts. He has a pure heart towards the fight against corruption, but powerful forces will try to frustrate him. Ultimately, corruption might fight back and indict him if he’s not cautious. In the near future, the EFCC will face changes, and its powers will be reduced.

“Corruption will continue to thrive Tinubu’s government due to the influential forces supporting it. The EFCC chairman will do his best, but these powers will hinder him from achieving his full potential. The battle against corruption in Nigeria is extremely challenging; it has become a fraternity, and anyone attempting to fight it risks being absorbed into the system.”

Primate Ayodele stressed that there is much work to be done to win the war against corruption because the system is deeply polluted.

“The system is corrupt, and to eradicate corruption, Nigeria would need to be rebuilt from the ground up, as it permeates every sector. This government cannot win the fight against corruption. It’s unfortunate that the EFCC chairman is doing his best, but powerful forces are undermining him. Soon, people will conspire and secretly call for his removal.”...For More READ THE FULL STORY ▶▶
