Ms. Ahadu was apprehended on December 28 in the Badarawa area of Shinkafi Local Government Area (LGA), Zamfara State, along with her accomplice, a motorcyclist identified as Ahmed Husaini. During the operation, security forces intercepted a large cache of ammunition, including 764 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and six magazines, allegedly destined for the camp of the infamous terrorist kingpin, Bello Turji. Turji is a well-known figure linked to numerous violent attacks and atrocities in the region.
The military stated that the arrests were the result of precise intelligence reports about the movement of terrorist logistics along the Kware-Badarawa road, a known route used by criminal networks.
