Ayansola’s journey began 13 years ago when he went to live with his uncle in Ibadan, where frequent power outages made life difficult.
“Do you know the pain of trying to read at night without electricity? We relied on lanterns, and it was a huge challenge. You couldn’t even watch TV because there was no power,” Ayansola recalls.
It was during this time that the idea for a generator that didn’t require fuel took root in his mind. Determined to make his vision a reality, Ayansola shared his idea with his physics teacher.
“I told my teacher about it, and he said it was possible,” he adds, reflecting on the moment that set him on the path toward innovation.
Since then, Mailko Technology Limited has grown into a pioneering company, but not without challenges.
