According to GhanaWeb, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo unveiled the statue at the entrance of Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi as part of his one-day “thank you” tour of the Western Region.
Western Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah explained that the statue was erected to honor the President for his various initiatives, including the rehabilitation of Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital, the construction of a 3-tier Sinohydro interchange, and the redevelopment of the Takoradi Market Circle.
Despite the unveiling of the statue, some of these projects were still incomplete.
The President stated that he has fulfilled 80 percent of the promises made to the people of Ghana.
