While the man removed the portrait, he was being cheered by some people in the background.
However, the short video did not show whether his portrait was immediately replaced with that of the new Lagos State Speaker, Mojisola Metanda.
Obasa was impeached on Monday, January 13, by lawmakers of the Lagos House of Assembly.
Shortly after his impeacechment Obasa was immediately replaced by his deputy, Meranda.
