The elder statesman took the opportunity to commend Governor Alex Otti for what he described as purposeful and transformative leadership in Abia State. According to Obasanjo, the positive reception of Otti’s government by the people is a clear sign that good governance is possible.
He further stated that if at least 18 state governors across the country could emulate Otti’s performance, the trajectory of Nigeria would change for the better.
