MyNigeria reported that the northerners were accused of being kidnappers and were set ablaze by an angry mob. The video for the incident generated widespread outrage, with the majority coming from fellow northerners.

However, Ejimakor said the outrage ought to have also been extended to Deborah Samuel, a Christian girl killed by a mob in the north for alleged blasphemy.

He also called for outrage over the prosecution of his client, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

He shared on X, “The outrage over the #EdoKillings is dubious if it’s not extended to Deborah, Eha Amufu & the terrorists troubling central & southern Nigeria.
