Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker from Kaduna and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), responded to a photo he shared of Salisu Abubakar, a young boy who lost his father in the military drone strike in Kaduna.
It is no longer news that discussions on the Nigerian Army’s bombing of the Kaduna hamlet have prompted many Nigerians ever since it occurred.
In a Monday post on his verified Twitter page, Shehu Sani said that since the event, dignitaries have been showing up and promising things to the victims’ families. According to him, the true adventure starts after the cameras stop rolling and the years pass.

Hw wrote on his page, “Abubakar Salisu lost his mother and father in the Kaduna Drone strikes.They are actually receiving adequate care and attention at the Government Hospital for now.Dignitaries are trooping in for visits.Pledges and promises are pouring in.The real journey begins when the cameras have gone and the years goes by.May this tragedy never reoccurs in any part of our country.Amin”.
