Last weekend, Argentina Midfielder Enzo Fernandez was at the centre of Chelsea’s excellent performance against Leicester City at King Power Stadium as the West London got an away win against the Foxes.

That Assist made by Enzo Fernandez was praised by many Football enthusiasts and powerful media houses as some of them even compared it with what Cesc Fabregas used to do when he was at Chelsea.

Enzo Fernandez has been turning up consistently for Chelsea on the pitch since he joined them in January for a fee of £106million from Benfica.

Benfica played hardball with Chelsea initially as they maintained their stance on not selling Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea but, the West London club was able to get the deal done on the deadline day of the transfer window.

Enzo Fernandez wasn’t the first Player that Chelsea recruited from Benfica as the West London club has done quite a number of businesses with the Portuguese Primeira Liga Club in the past.

One thing about the Players signed from Benfica is that they always turned up good at Stamford Bridge. Brazilian duo Ramires and David Luiz were both signed from Benfica while Serbia Midfielder Nemanja Matic was also signed from the Portuguese Club.
