“Who did they ask to donate to buy a $150 million jet for President Tinubu? With that money, 10 good primary schools would have been built and run for at least 20 years, educating 10 generations of African people. President Tinubu didn’t make a tough decision; he made a wicked decision.”

He also expressed concerns about the government asking the public for donations instead of seeking funds from wealthy individuals and companies.

Nigerians have been outraged after the presidency purchased a new private jet worth millions of dollars while its citizens struggle with poverty and hardship.

This happened at a time when Nigerians were experiencing constant increases in fuel prices, food price hikes, scarcity, and a poor economic situation.

In an effort to alleviate hardship, the government provided palliatives to some citizens which also led to significant backlash from individuals expressing disappointment in the government’s actions.

Many have criticised President Tinubu for being insensitive by purchasing a jet while citizens are suffering, yet asking them to be patient and have faith in his renewed hope.
