According to the company, the new fighter-bombers, primarily designed for precision strikes against ground and naval targets, have undergone necessary testing and have been sent to the places of their operation.

“Our workforces are doing this important job with honor. This is not the last batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers this year. These aircraft are the basic strike power of our frontline aviation and demonstrate their efficiency in real combat conditions,” news agency TASS quoted a company executive as saying.

A key component of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Su-34 fighter-bomber is especially noted for its versatility and effectiveness in various combat scenarios. These are designed to engage ground (waterborne) and aerial targets, and also infrastructure sites shielded by air defenses and are located at considerable distances from the aircraft’s airfield.

According to United Aircraft Corporation Su-34 fighter bomber operates effectively under enemy fire and can also carry out aerial reconnaissance.
