Sahara Group has reaffirmed its commitment to Africa’s energy transition, citing gas and renewable energy as central to its 2024 sustainability report.
According to a statement, Sahara Group said the report, themed ‘Beyond Energy: Fostering Africa’s Sustainable Future’, was prepared in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards and maps the Group’s initiatives to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Director of Governance & Sustainability, Ejiro Gray, said the company sees sustainability as the engine of transformation for its business, communities and Africa’s future.
