A Nigerian man, Tunde Thomas passed away after his wife confessed that her boss, Adam Nuru, the Managing Director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), is the biological father of their two children.
The heartbreaking incident was shared by @rundriveng, a user on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter).
Details Of The Tweet
According to the X user, the deceased’s wife, Moyo, opened up after being questioned about the children’s whereabouts when they didn’t return from an holiday in the United States (US).
In the aftermath, Moyo filed for asylum in the US, citing marital violence, allegedly to secure a Green Card and prevent Tunde from entering the country.
The tweet, which has garnered over 155k views, revealed the devastating incident occurred in 2017. Tunde allegedly suffered a stroke following his wife’s confession.
However, he got into a relationship with a lawyer and passed away on December 15, 2020, after returning home from work.
Sharing details about the incident, the X user stated, “Tunde returned home from work, collapsed on the staircase of his residence, and died instantly. An autopsy determined the cause of death as heart failure”.
Funeral Arrangements
According to @rundriveng, the deceased, a former employee of Oceanic Bank, was laid to rest on December 30, 2020.
