Simon Ekpa Insults Nnamdi Kanu Again, Disobeys His Order From DSS Custody Amid Power Tussle Speculations

Finland-based agitator, Simon Ekpa’s recent activity is conflicting Nnamdi Kanu’s directives in the South-East, leaving an indication that there’s a crack in their relationship.

While there are speculations that Ekpa is fighting to usurp Nnamdi Kanu’s authority as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, the fact that the former disobeys Nnamdi Kanu’s recent directive has made it reasonable to suspect his move.

In July, Ekpa called on all Biafrans to disregard a handwritten letter from Nnamdi Kanu warning him to “desist from calling for any sit-at- Home henceforth”.

After disobeying the order in the letter, Ekpa went ahead to declare himself as the Prime Minister of Biafra.

Meanwhile, Kanu in the letter had noted that he has ordered his special counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, to release a press statement if Ekpa fails to end all sit-at- home orders in the South-East.

Kanu added that anybody still engaging in Sit-at- Home is not his disciple.

The detained IPOB leader went ahead declaring an end to all Sit-At- Home exercise, including the Monday’s sit-at-home and any other proposed thereof being aimed to force the government to release him.

However, in what could be said is another sheer disobedience to Nnamdi Kanu, Ekpa on Monday, December 11th, announced a sit-at-home exercise, saying that it is following the demand by the Biafran people for more sit-at-home in the region.

He said the sit-at-home will start from December 15th to 19th, to protest against Nigeria being officially addressed as an Islamic state by the United Kingdom Government.

He also said it is in preparation for Biafra Government data collection of Biafrans, followed by Biafra self referendum.
