How Premier League table looks like
The result follows the other weekend’s feisty one-all draw with Arsenal at the Etihad. Arsenal, meanwhile, left it late to return to winning ways with a 4-2 win over Leicester City. Both Arsenal and Manchester City remain unbeaten.
However, there is a new leader in town after Liverpool’s hard-fought win over Wolves saw them usurp City at the top. Chelsea also recorded their highest-ever placing under the new owners, with their 4-2 win over Brighton moving them into fourth place.
The biggest result of the weekend was Tottenham Hotspur thumping Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford to pile more pressure on Erik ten Hag.
Supercomputer predicts Premier League table
In light of the recent results, a supercomputer has now predicted how the Premier League table will look at the end of the 38 games.
Manchester City have been tipped to win the league once again, beating Arsenal by a single point. Liverpool has been placed third, while Chelsea will secure a return to the Champions League.
Despite their big victory at United, Tottenham have been placed in sixth place while Manchester United have been given their worst ever finish in 11th.
