During a town hall meeting organised by Channels Television to discuss the controversies surrounding the bills, the Chairman was asked if he realised he may be causing President Bola Tinubu a second term.

The question came amid the feelings that the bills have caused upset among some political heavyweights in the country, especially the Northern region.

However, Oyedele hoped that if anything happens to the President in 2027 it would not be because of the bill, insisting the bills were for the benefits of all Nigerians.

“I feel really very sorry for Mr President, even though he says nobody should feel sorry for him.
