Enyam, a legal aide at DF Legal mentioned that the officers only gained access to the first floor of the building through a back door that is often left open.

Peter, a cleaner on the other hand mentioned that she was repeatedly slapped while the men threatened her life. She explained that Farotimi only emerged from his office when they threatened to harm her unless he presented himself.

She recounted: “They hit me and told me not to say anything, then one of them pointed a gun at me. I was very scared. They then pushed me to take them directly to our real boss. That’s why I took them there. As soon as we arrived, they started slapping and mistreating me, demanding that my boss present himself or they would harm me. My boss was very scared and didn’t want anything to happen to me, so he instructed them to take whatever they needed.”

He was previously arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ado Ekiti on Monday, December 3rd.
