Similar to the #EndBadGovernance protest, these protests aim to highlight pressing issues affecting Nigerians such as economic hardship and insecurity, and to draw President Bola Tinubu’s attention to the plight of Nigerians.
The protests will occur in various locations including Lagos State, Rivers State, Yobe State, Borno State, and Kwara State.
The Take It Back Movement tweeted on Tuesday, September 23 that protesters in Lagos State should gather at Ikeja Under Bridge at 7:30 am. In Rivers State, the convergence point is Pleasure Park, Port Harcourt, with participants asked to assemble by 7:30 am.
Protesters in Borno State will meet at the Arewa Youth For Peace Office on Damaturu Road at 8:00 am. In Yobe State, the venue is Damaturu Main Roundabout, opposite the Old Motor Park to Maiduguri Road, with protesters expected to arrive by 8:00 am.
Kwara State protesters will meet at Ilorin Post Office Under-bridge at 8:00 am.
