During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Abejide noted that the current administration has what it takes to turn the dwindling fortunes of the country.

The lawmaker also took a swipe at the previous President Muhammadu Buhari administration for its handling of the economy.
He said everything went down completely, faulting the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) under Godwin Emefiele for minting excess currency.

Abejide, an African Democratic Congress (ADC) member, is confident that Tinubu will take the country out of the quagmire.
