In a post on his social media page, Sani noted that President Tinubu’s foreign trips since taking office in 2023 have resulted in significant economic gains for Nigeria. This, he claimed, is a departure from the wasteful foreign trips of previous presidents.
Sani specifically highlighted the economic benefits of President Tinubu’s visits to Saudi Arabia, Brazil, France, China, and South Africa. He expressed excitement over Brazil’s $4.2 billion grant to boost Nigeria’s agriculture, which will be distributed among local governments.
“The history of Presidential foreign travels in this country has been infamously known to be wasteful. However, there is an evidently notable difference this time around,” Sani wrote on his X handle. “The President’s visit to Saudi, Brazil, France, China, and South Africa attracted verifiable and practical economic gains for Nigeria.”
