The state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Wale Akinlosotu, confirmed Oluwatuyi’s death in a statement, describing him as a dedicated and accomplished public servant.
“It is with profound sadness that the Government of Ondo State announces the passing of Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, Secretary to the State Government,” the statement read. “Hon. Oluwatuyi was a steadfast public servant whose commitment to administrative coordination, policy advisory, and implementation profoundly impacted Ondo State.”
Oluwatuyi had a long and distinguished career in public service. He served as Chairman of Akure South Local Government, a Commissioner, and held the position of SSG twice. His leadership and dedication significantly contributed to the state’s development and governance.
The statement also highlighted his close collaboration with the Governor and key officials in driving initiatives and policies across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The government expressed its condolences to the Oluwatuyi family, friends, and associates, noting that further details regarding his memorial arrangements would be shared in due course.STRANGE INDEED!
