The Blues are said to be looking to let a number of their players leave the club this summer as they look to balance their books so as not to fall short in complying with the financial fair play rule.
The West London club made some big signings last summer but will need to sanction some sales if they are to equally make some mouthwatering spending this summer.
Gallagher was reported as one of the players the club would allow to leave this summer. A fee in the region of £50m would be e ough to take him away from Chelsea, with Aston Villa and Fulham already working on how to raise that amount of money.
