A video has surfaced showing customers expressing concern over the high prices being charged at a filling station.

A Total filling station in Idi-Iroko, Lagos State, is being accused of overcharging customers for fuel.

In the video, which circulated on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, customers with containers were seen complaining as they waited to purchase fuel.

Reports indicate that customers were asked to pay N1,000 for five litres and N2,500 for 25 litres, with payment being mandated before fuel was dispensed.

This incident has occurred in the midst of fuel scarcity and a struggling economy.

The video was captioned, “These people selling on five litres keg they collect N1000, on 25 litres keg, you pay N2500. These people will make sure they collect the money before selling the fuel.

“Now, they will tell us it is the Nigerian government inflating the price. We can all see now that the Nigerian government is trying its best but some anti-humans among humans are the ones dealing with Nigerians.

“I am using this medium to call on the Nigerian government to come to Nigerian’s rescue, these people are the ones frustrating Nigerians, not the government.”VIDEO
