When asked to share his ordeal, Nwoha-Mba began: “I hail from Imo State and married my wife, Fiona, seven years ago. Together, we have three children—two boys and a girl. Fiona was only 35 years old when this heartbreaking incident occurred.
On October 29, 2024, we went to the hospital for a planned caesarean section. There was no emergency involved; it was a scheduled procedure. After our son, a healthy baby boy, was delivered, the doctors informed me that they had removed fibroids from my wife during the operation.
I was shocked when they asked me to bring a container to take the fibroids home. That’s when my alarm bells went off.
I immediately questioned who had given them permission to carry out the fibroid removal. This deeply troubled me because I’ve experienced the dangers of such procedures firsthand. To my horror, I was then asked to arrange for four pints of blood. This request became an urgent matter since Fiona’s blood type is O-negative, a rare type that’s not easily available.”
In his words, he added: “I spent hours running around trying to find the blood. We managed to get it, but when they brought Fiona out after the surgery, her stomach started swelling. They rushed her back into the theatre, telling me once again to look for blood.”…READ THE FULL STORY FROM SOURCE ↔️
