During a live broadcast on Symfoni TV, Datti asserted that the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) was abruptly shut down when Peter Obi began to accumulate more votes in the 2023 presidential election. Additionally, he said that technological issues were exploited as a justification to rig the results when it appeared that Peter Obi was winning.
Baba-Ahmed also urged the people of Edo not to feel intimidated by powerful figures, saying that true power lies with the citizens. He emphasized that the people’s voice is what truly matters in deciding leadership.
