The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has launched personal attacks on Obi since the latter defected from the PDP to the Labour Party over the past year.
In his latest attack on the former Anambra governor, Omokri insinuated that Obi has not yet come to the defense of the southeast, where he hails from.
He wrote on X: “Peter Obi spoke up about the arrest of Dele Farotimi within hours of it occurring. However, two weeks after the arrest of Simon Ekpa, Peter Obi is still in shock and has not spoken. Why the double standard?”
“If it is in the North or Southwest, Peter Obi will dance naked in the streets. If it is about Igboland, Okwute will chop and clean mouth!”
