Getrude Yohana claimed that she paid the man’s university tuition fees, which totalled approximately TZS 3.5 million (KSh 169,113). However, he left her as soon as he secured a job at a bank.
The two lived together and were blessed with two children.
Getrude shared that she met the man, Ramadhani, in 2009 when he was still a high school student. She explained that they dated for two years and moved in together in 2011, despite not having much money.
“I was a casual labourer then, and he worked as a security guard. He talked to me and said he wanted to go to university because he had passed his high school exams. I agreed,” she stated.
The heartbroken woman noted that Ramadhani’s first year at university went smoothly, but he faced financial challenges when he began his second year.
“I went to my place of work and took a TZS 600,000 (KSh 28,990) loan for him to continue with his studies. All this while, I did extra jobs to provide for the family and even gave him money to print notes until he completed his studies,” she claimed.
Getrude explained that the father of her two children got a job in 2013, and life was good during the first six months.
“He changed after a few months and began disrespecting me, saying he was tired of living with a class-seven dropout and a dark-skinned person because he had found someone of his league,” she noted.
She also mentioned that she did not know how much he was earning, as he kept everything a secret.
He eventually sent the woman and their children out of their home, leading to a hectic court case.
“Even after the court ruled that he was supposed to provide some support for his children, he stopped and even accused me of stealing his household items,” noted Getrude.
The mother of two stated that she has given up on the relationship but only wants the man to step up and provide for his children.
“I took him to the children’s office yet again, and after he was summoned, he threatened me, saying he would do something if I did not stop pestering him. I even went to his branch manager to talk to him, but it was all in vain,” she said.
Getrude mentioned that she had gone through a lot of pain in that relationship and would never want to get back together with Ramadhani.
“The only strength I have left is to raise my children. I don’t want him back. I hope authorities can help me because he has threatened me several times and keeps taking me to the police station, wasting my time,” she stated.
Speaking to Ayo TV, the man in question refuted Getrude’s claims, noting that she did not pay a single cent for his schooling.
“She did not have any job at that time, and I am not aware of any loans she took out on my behalf. If she did, then she did not tell me and did not show any documents to prove that,” he stated…CONTINUE READING>>
