The All Progressives Congress has concluded its 8th national convention at Eagle Square, Abuja, reaffirming Nentawe Yilwatda as national chairman and Ajibola Basiru as national secretary. Delegates elected a new national working committee through a consensus arrangement endorsed by stakeholders. Benjamin Obi Nwoye was named deputy national chairman (south), replacing Emma Eneukwu, following consultations influenced by zoning considerations and Enugu Governor Peter Mbah.
