The bandits came in large numbers on motorcycles, rounded up the communities on Tuesday evening, and abducted the victims into the forest.
Eyewitness accounts said that the attackers stormed the Sabon Layi Community at about 5:30 pm on Tuesday, where they abducted about 50 people.
The sources told African Independent Television that the bandits bore heavy firearms which they fired sporadically before going away with their victims Gira, Amirawa, Ana Ruwa, and Dan Shamaki communities.
Other communities attacked were Nasarawa, Gidan Ango and Kwakwara.
The bandits also carted away valuables, including foodstuffs and handsets.
